Luteri, 87, Berlin, died Oct. 25, 1999, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Aug. 30, 1912, in Boswell, son of Peter and Rosina (Peduzzi) Luteri. Preceded in death by parents, his wife, the former Helen Ellenberger; brothers: Lawrence and Robert. Survived by these children: John R., married to the former Catherine Kiste, Frederick, Md.; Rebecca, married to Glenn McKenzie, Edina, Minn., and Terry, married to the former Deborah Doyle, Berlin; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Connie, married to Larry Walter, Apalachin, N.Y.; also numerous nieces and nephews. Retired contractor and stone mason, co-owner of the former Peter R. Luteri and Sons, Somerset, and the former Luteri's Restaurant, Berlin. World War II Navy veteran. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Last Man's Club, American Legion and V.F.W., all of Berlin. Life-member of Somerset Aerie 1801, F.O.E. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, with the Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
