Luteri, 57, of West Catherine St., Somerset, died May 7, 1978 at his residence. Born Sept. 6, 1921 in Somerset, he was a son of the late Peter R. and Rosina (Peduzzi) Luteri. He is survived by his wife, the former Julia A. Dirienzo; and these children: Robert Peter, Joseph, Maria Rennie and Laura, all at home. Brother of Lawrence of Somerset; John of Berlin; and Mrs. Larry (Carmelina) Walker of Apalachin, New York. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Somerset; member of the 36th Division Association; veteran of World War II and was awarded the Silver Star during action in Europe. He was also a partner in the Peter R. Luteri Construction Company. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Meyersdale Republic, May 11, 1978 [L1464]
