He resided at 1109 Maple St., Mentor, Ohio. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 3:00 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Home in Willoughby, Ohio. Rev. Richard Pettit of the Mentor Methodist Church officiated. Relatives from Pittsburgh, attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith and daughter Joyce Ann; Mrs. Nellie Krause, Marling Smith, Claud Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Altfather, Berlin; Mrs. Esther Koontz, Holsopple; Mrs. Albert Brooks, Mrs. Earl Menges and Mrs. Edmund Menges, Hyndman. George Lybarger, 61, died very suddenly at his home in Mentor, Ohio, on Monday, Jan. 19. He was a native of Bedford County and lived for some years in Berlin, where he was well known. About 23 years ago he moved with his family to Ohio, where they have since resided. He was the husband of Rose Smith, who survives with the following children: Joseph Lybarger, Mrs. William Heffner, Mrs. John Sarosy and Harry Lybarger, all living in Ohio. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Mentor. The sympathy of this community goes out to Mrs. Lybarger and her devoted family in the double sorrow that recently came to their home.
