Lydick, 74, of Salisbury, formerly of Homer City, died Jan. 12, 1988, Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland MD. Born Aug. 21, 1914, in Plumville, son of the late Smith E. and Edith (Walker) Lydick. Also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survived by his wife, the former Iola M. May; one brother, Clyde S., of Erie; and four sisters: Mrs. Edna Miller of Ravenna, Ohio; Mrs. Bea Kinis, Mrs. Ruby Criss and Mrs. Evelyn Stiles, all of Erie. He was a retired machine operator for the Helen Mining Company. Veteran of World War II, life member of Homer City V.F.W., and member of Homer City American Legion. Friends will be received Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Steven J. Heatwole officiating.
