  JAMES P. LYNCH
  
    James P. Lynch, 88, Berlin, died Nov. 6, in VA Hospital, Altoona. 
  Born Aug. 12, 1879, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of John and Catherine
  (Stokes) Lynch.  He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant
  child.
    He was married to the former Emily May Brant, who survives with
  these children: James B., Tallmadge, Ohio; and Mrs. Anna Mae Miller,
  Wilmington, Del.; also five grandchildren and two great
  grandchildren.  He was a brother of Miles, Mrs. Catherine McCarthy
  and Mrs. Ann Stein, all of Pittsburgh.
    A member of United Spanish War Veterans, he served in the
  Nicaraguan campaign during the Spanish-American War.  He belonged to
  the Berlin Brethren Church.
    Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. 
  Interment was made in Beachdale Cemetery.
