Lynch, aged 59 years, formerly a resident of Meyersdale, who died Wednesday in the Youngstown, O., Hospital as the result of injuries sustained on Saturday, Feb. 8, when struck by an automobile while waiting to board a motor bus, arrived in Meyersdale at 4:08 o'clock last Friday afternoon. Undertaker W. C. Price took charge of the body and removed it to the home of Mrs. Harry Walsh, a sister of the deceased. Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in SS. Philip and James' Catholic Church, mass being celebrated by Very Rev. Father J. J. Brady, rector. Interment in the Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Lynch moved from Meyersdale to Youngstown about 16 years ago. His wife, Mrs. Elmira (Mull) Lynch, died here about 25 years ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Kelly and Mrs. William Kelly, both of Youngstown, and Miss Gertrude Lynch, at home, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Lynch, of Meyersdale. He also leaves these brothers and sisters: John, Thomas and Bernadette Lynch, all of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Annie Smith, Mrs. Thomas Henninger and Mrs. John Friel, all of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Harry Walsh and Mrs. Edward Kerrigan, both of Meyersdale. Two brothers and one sister preceded him to the grave. Mr. Lynch's father, Michael Lynch, died about 25 years ago in Meyersdale. Meyersdale Republican, February 20, 1930
