(Dick) Lynn, 55, East Main Street, Somerset, died April 30, 1973, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Fairfield Township near Ligonier on March 10, 1918, a son of the late Milford S. and Alda (Korb) Lynn. Surviving are his widow, Jean Ellenberger Lynn; two children, David S., Somerset, and Rachel L., wife of James W. Scofield, Johnstown; two sisters, Esther, wife of Foster Zeunges, Ligonier, and Mrs. Margaret Haynes, Wichita Falls, Texas; and a brother, Edward McAuliffe, Champion. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset; American Legion Post 181, Somerset; veteran of World War II, served with the U.S. Marine Corps. Owner and manager of Moore's In Town Motel. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating.
