  LYONS
  
    Arthur M. Lyons, 86, of Lyons Road, Rockwood, died April 23, 1999
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 19, 1912 in Middlecreek Township, a
  son of the late Irvin and Jennie (Tedrow) Lyons.  Preceded in death
  by his parents and a sister, Gladys Raley.  Survived by his wife of
  60 years, the former Ada Handwerk, and the following children: Merle,
  Clair, and Blair Lyons, all of Lyons Road, Rockwood; and Melvin Lyons
  of Sykesville, Md.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 
  Member of Barron's Lutheran Church.  A retired farmer, served as
  supervisor of Middlecreek Township for more than 25 years.  Friends
  will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday
  at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset where funeral service will be
  conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday.  Pastor John Palko officiating. 
  Interment Barron's Church Cemetery.
