Lyon, 68 year old, Superintendent of Jenners No. 2 Mine of the Consolidation Coal Company, one of the best known men is this section of Somerset County, died at 9 o'clock Sunday morning following an illness of three or four weeks. Mr. Lyon suffered a stroke of paralysis a couple of weeks ago and one side was entirely paralyzed. Mr. Lyon was an uncle of R. R. Lyon of Fairmont, W. Va., who is Superintendent of all the Consolidation Coal Company mines. Funeral services were held in Jenners at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev. I. Hess Wagner, of Somerset.
