Born Jan. 25, 1924, in Dickerson Run, son of the late Theodore and Sylvia (Morrison) Lytle. Survived by his wife, Jean (Diveley) Lytle; and the following children: Mary Jean Fike, Addison; Ted, Perryopolis; Lois Metheney, Harnedsville; William and Donald, both of Confluence; nine grandchildren; a brother, Ronald, and a sister, Edith Colflesh, both of Confluence. Preceded in death by a sister. Veteran of World War II and a member of the Confluence VFW Post 7250, the Ursina American Legion, Confluence I.O.O.F., the Cooties of Somerset, Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association, the United Methodist Church of Confluence, Confluence Resident Council and the Confluence Volunteer Fire Department. Retired from the Western Maryland Railroad. Friends are being received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., with Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
