The Somerset herald: (Somerset, Pa.) 1870-1936: January 13, 1875
On Wednesday the 6th inst., Mr. Samuel Miller died very suddenly at his residence in
Addison Twp., Somerset Co., Pa., at the advanced age of 79 years. Mr. Miller was one
of the oldest and highly esteemed citizens. His character can be summed up in few
words, and to speak of his character is to pronounce his eulogy. He was industrious,
kind-hearted and a thoroughly honest man. A volume could say no more. May he rest in
peace.
