John R. Mong, 79, died following an illness of ten years, at the home of his son
Elwood Mong in Stoystown Monday. Mr. Mong was a retired farmer of Quemahoning
township. A son of John and Catherine (Lichtenberger) Mong. John Mong was born in
Somerset. His wile passed away 15 years ago. He leaves one son with whom he resided.
Funeral services will take place at 2, Wednesday afternoon at the Mong home. The
Rev. William Snyder, pastor of the Reformed church in Stoystown, will be in charge.
Interment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, Stoystown.
