Mong, 52, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad car distributor died Tuesday at his home, in Connellsvule. Although not in the best of health, Mr. Mong worked Monday and that evening was stricken with a heart attack, another one following Tuesday morning. Mr. Mong was born at Stoystown, Somerset county, October 1, 1885, a son of Mrs. Alice B. Mong of Uniontown and the late Frank F. Mong. He had spent all of his life at Stoystown, Dawson and Connellsville, coming here from Dawson about 27 years ago. He was an employe of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 35 years and of late years had been a car distributor, being located in Connellsville until the offices were transferred to Pittsburgh. He was married to Miss Mary B. Smith or Connellsville. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by four sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Mary F Porter and Mrs. C. M. Hansel, Uniontown; Mrs. Russell C. Jennings, Youngstown, O.; George Fowler Mong, Uniontown, Albert V. and Stanley W. Mong, Dawson. He was a member of the Baltimore and Ohio Veterans Association, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles- The body was removed to C. C. Mitchell's funeral chapel, Connellsville, where the service will be held Friday afternoon at. 2:30. Rev. Raymond A. Kurtz, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Chestnut Hill cemetery.
