Preceded in death by parents; brother, Clayton D. MacDonald; and two half-brothers, Edward and Robert Hamer. Survived by widow, the former Winifred (Swope) Beener; two children, Deborah, wife of Shawn Weaver, Somerset RD 2; and Scott, at home; step-son, Attorney James Beener, married to former Judith Cooper, Boswell RD 1; two grandchildren, Kathryn and Joshua C. Beener. Brother of Kay Grove, Beaver Falls; William MacDonald, North Huntington; and Donald MacDonald, Sarasota, Fla. Member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle. Founder of former Lincoln Mine and Mill Supply, Boswell. Sales representative for Addis Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. Served two years in the U.S. Army. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Chauncy J. Ickes.
