MacDonald, 90, of 705 Baker Street, died July 11, 1982 in Cumberland Nursing Home. Born in Glencoe, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Knepp and Mary Catherine (Mathias) Knepp. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Arch Brown, and George A. MacDonald. She was previously employed by the Allegany County Board of Education as custodian at Cresaptown school and was a member of Living Stone Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons, Albert T. Brown, LaVale, Md.; William M. MacDonald, Cumberland, Md.; one stepson, James E. MacDonald, LaVale; five daughters, Mrs. Catherine M. Brooks, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Mary E. Swain, Little Orleans; Mrs. Regina M. Moore, Frederick, Md.; Mrs. Pansy D. Stewart, Lincoln, Va.; and Mrs. Betty J. Brant, Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Beeman, Mt. Savage, Md.; Mrs. Ruth Thomas, Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Leora Yutzy, McClellantown; 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a number of step-grandchildren.
