Machin, 79, of Port Angeles, Wash., died Jan. 1, 1995 in Port Angeles. Born March 6, 1915 in Johnstown, he was a son of Albert E. and Margaret (Morgan) Machin. He is survived by his wife, the former E. June Mimmie; two sons: Eric Machin, Port Angeles; Tim Machin, Nellingham, Wash.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Machin served in the U.S. Army prior to World War II. During World War II he worked for the Civil Service through Civil Aeronautics Agency assigned with the Navy. He was an air traffic control specialist and worked for the Civil Service for 34 years. He retired in 1971 and moved to Port Angeles from Anchorage, Alaska. A private service was held for the family.
