  MACHTLEY
  
    Robert G. Machtley, 77, Robinson Ill., formerly of Windber, died
  March 18, 1998, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Ill., after
  a brief illness.  Born June 9, 1920 in Bedford County, son of the
  late Warren and Dena (Gephart) Machtley.  Also preceded in death by
  wife, the former Lois C. Lehman, who died Jan. 20, 1996 and a sister,
  Alene Lee.  Survived by sons, Richard, married to the former Kathy
  Masters, Robinson; and Rodney, married to the former Sandy McNamara,
  Overland Park, Ks., and daughter, Nancy, wife of John Runhaar, Boca
  Raton, Fla.; also grandchildren, Jodi and Kristen Machtley, Robinson;
  Brian and Jason Machtley, Overland Park; Aimee and Erin Runhaar, Boca
  Raton; Heather Rodger, East Northport, N.Y.; and great-grandchild,
  Lauren Rodger.  Operated Machtley Dairy in Windber with his father. 
  Served as director of the former Windber Redevelopment Authority.  He
  had been the Executive Director of Crawford County Opportunities since
  1967, and was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church,
  Robinson; Robinson Masonic Lodge, No. 250; Valley of Ainad Shrine, E.
  St Louis.  He was a past member of Robinson Rotary, Robinson Elks
  Lodge No. 1188, and LOOM Lodge 1359.  He served as chairman of the
  Illinois Route No. 1 Assoc., Embarras River Basin Assoc., the
  Hutsonville Chamber of Commerce and the Robinson Chamber of
  Commerce.  Bob was responsible for the Crawford County Revolving Loan
  Fund and served on the RHS Industrial Technology Committee.  Friends
  were received Sunday at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson and will be
  received from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Ronald St. Clair.  Entombment,
  Richland Mausoleum.
