Mack, 77, of Cleveland, Ohio, native of Macdonaldton, died Nov. 9, 1995, at home. Born May 28, 1918, in Macdonaldton, son of Joseph and Mary (Gutt) Mack. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: John, Joseph, and Andrew, and sister, Olga Rabik. Survived by his wife of 46 years the former Susan Slifco, and these children: Robert, and Deborah both of Cleveland. Brother of Ann Cross of Somerset, Mary Balan of Binghamton, N.Y. and William of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Retired from Kassouf Construction of Cleveland. WW II Army Veteran. Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Cleveland, the laborers union, and the National Slovak Society. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where wake service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St Gregory's Catholic Church Macdonaldton, Rev. Tim Swope. Interment, St. Gregory's Cemetery. Daily American, November 11, 1995 [M0009]
