  HELEN E. MACMANNIS
  
    Helen E. MacMannis, 83, of 15062 Haslemere Court, Silver Spring,
  Maryland, died Sunday, April 15, 1984 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing
  Home in Oakland, Maryland.
    Born in Grantsville, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Ralph
  Engle and Etta (Layman) Engle.  Her husband was the late Harold A.
  MacMannis.
    She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles T. Beckwith,
  Frederick, Maryland; Mrs. Wilbur Ruehl, Parkersburg, W.Va.; four
  sisters, Miss Ida V. Engle, Frostburg, Maryland; Mrs. Raymond Goetz,
  Cumberland, Maryland; Mrs. M.S. Brookhart, Oakland, Maryland; Clem
  Wadsworth, Latrobe; and six grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary
  where services were conducted by the Rev. John Williams.  Interment
  was in Hillcrest Burial Park.
