    Rita Maddux, 55, of Topeka, Kan., died Sept 10, 1989 at
  Stormont-Vail Medical Center in Topeka.  Born March 10, 1934 in
  MacDonaldton.  Daughter of Karl and Anna (Motisko) Krepelka.
    She has lived in Topeka since the early 1950's and served in the
  United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  She was employed
  in the insurance industry.  Former member of Most Pure Heart of Mary
  Catholic Church.  
    Survived by her husband, Lyle Maddux of Topeka; two step daughters,
  Jewel Maddux of Topeka and Kim Dain of Carbondale, Kan.; one step son
  Larry Maddux of Topeka, one brother, Edward Krepelka, Brook Park,
  Ohio; and ten sisters: Lillian Dotson, Cleveland, Ohio; Virdean
  Schott, Parma, Ohio; Mary Barron, Gary, Ind.; Ann Buyuklian, South
  San Fransisco, Calif.; Helen Will, of Friedens; Margaret McGlade,
  Orlando, Fla.; Theresa Farling, Somerset; Carolyn Schrock, Somerset;
  Beatrice Kister, Berlin; Rose Krepelka, Brook Park, Ohio.  Funeral
  services at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gable Funeral Home, Topeka
  Burial, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka.  Memorial contributions may be
  made to the American Cancer Society.
