Madey, 71, 417 Pershing St., Gallitzin, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1988, at Miners Hospital, Spangler. He was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Coupon, son of Louis and Wadaslawa (Zachesky) Mady. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Louis; and sister, Mrs. Wanda Kosiek. He is survived by widow, former Anna Rocus, and son, Daniel. He was a brother of John and Mrs. Sophie Kotapish, both of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Madeline Hope, McLean, Va.; Paul, Ebensburg; Frank, Berlin; Mrs. Cecelia Muldoon, Mrs. Josephine George and Mrs. Margaret Solarczyk, all of Lilly; and Stanley and Leon, both of Gallitzin. He was a retired coal miner; World War II Army veteran; member of Summit County Club, Cresson; Post 174, American Legion; and St. Mary Catholic Church, Gallitzin, where Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev.
