Born Jan. 2, 1908, in Italy, daughter of Ignazio and Nellie (LaBue) Mattaliano. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Carmelo, Dec. 23, 1978; daughter Nellie; sister, Julia Cordaro, and brothers, Peter, Matthew and Paul. Survived by these children: Virginia, wife of Bruce Lottig Sr., and Anthony, both of Boswell RD 2, and Joseph, married to Beverly Meyers, Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughter, Bonnie Lottig, who helped take special care of her "Granny." Also other grandchildren: Bruce Lottig Jr., Virginia (Magazzu) Lepley, Carmelo Magazzu, Christine (Magazzu) DeLacruz and Jean Magazzu and great-grandchildren, Bruce Lottig III, Bobby Eller, Suzanne, Joseph and Zachery Magazzu. Sister of Nellie Lombardo and Helen Richmond, both of Trenton, N.J., and Margaret Sicheri, Somerset. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, and the Goldenaires. Former owner-operator of Magazzu's Restaurant and Tavern near Gray for 21 years. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Church, the Rev. Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Jenner Township.
