    Ruth Brant Maguire of LaVale, Md., died June 27, 1981, at her
  residence.  Born Sept. 12, 1913, in Stonycreek Township, a daughter
  of the late Irvin E. and Malissa (Glessner) Brant.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Maguire. She is
  survived by two brothers: Willard W., Johnstown, and George E.,
  Somerset; also two sisters: Mrs. Catharine Martz, LaVale, and Anna B.
  Pyle, Somerset.
    She was a graduate of the Berlin High School, class of 1931, and
  Duffs Business College, Pittsburgh.  A former employee of R.T.
  Royston Accountants, Pittsburgh.
    Friends were received at Hafer Funeral Home, LaVale.  Funeral
  services were held June 30 with the Rev. McDaniel of St. John's
  Lutheran Church, Cumberland, Md.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
