    Sultana Mahalnischy, 82, of Somerset died Jan. 25, 1995, in
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 29, 1912 in Cavarna, Bulgaria, daughter
  of the late Peter and Maria (Bahchivangia) Mahalnischy.  Preceded in
  death by a brother, Anton Mahalnischy.  Survived by a son, Constantin
  "Tony" Pomponiu of Somerset.  She received a masters of mathematics
  from the University of Bucharest and masters of engineering from
  Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest.  She was a retired
  electro-mechanical engineer for the country of Romania.  Friends
  received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Glenn E.
  Sadler officiating.
