   Mabel R. (Clark) Mahl, 89, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset, formerly of Gray,
  died Oct. 17, 2006, at the manor. Born Feb. 8, 1917, in Jennerstown, daughter of William
  and Margaret (Hemminger) Clark. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 55 years,
  Jonathan R. "Bob" Mahl, on Aug. 22, 1989; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews;
  and son-in-law, Richard Bailey. Survived by eight children, Thelma, married to Dan
  Kennedy, Greenbelt, Md.; Opal Mahl, Greensburg; Shelby Bailey, Boswell, and her special
  friend, Dalton Cable, Davidsville; Robert Mahl, Stonington, Conn.; Ruth Murray,
  Bellflower, Calif.; Margaret, married to George Benoit, Groton, Conn.; Darlene, married
  to Jeffrey Burrell, Pottstown; and Debra McEwen, Norwich, Conn.; 13 grand-children; 10
  great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She enjoyed playing piano and
  listening to Christian music. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where a service will be held at
  11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Michael A. Dunlap officiating. Interment, Laurel Hill Cemetery,
  Laughlintown. Memorial contributions may be given to North Star Youth Outreach, 320
  Allegheny St., Boswell, PA 15531.
