Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Major Charles V. Main, retired Frederick police chief. Mrs. Main, 67, was born in Merrill, Md., October 12, 1912. She was a daughter of Mrs. Birdie R. Warnick and the late Olin Warnick, Jennings, Md. Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two brothers, Marvin W. Warnick Sr. and Nevin L. Warnick; one nephew, Marvin W. Warnick Jr.; three great-nieces, Robyn Warnick, Durea Warnick and Kimi Warnick; and one great-nephew, Sean-Paul Warnick, all of Baltimore, Md. Educated in Garrett County, Maryland, Mrs. Main attended Frostburg State College and was a graduate of the Frederick Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1934. Friends were received at the Smith, Fadeley, Keeney and Basford Funeral Home in Frederick, until the day of the funeral when the remains were taken to Calvary United Methodist Church to lie in state until the services. The Rev. Robert E. Zimmerli, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, the Rev. Dr. Raymond L. Roderick, former pastor of Visitations of Calvary, and the Rev. Ralph M. Sharpe, a pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated. Interment in Mt. Oliver Cemetery. The Republic, March 22, 1979 [M-0044]
