Richard Maize, 71, Somerset, died Sept. 11, 2008, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 19, 1936, in DuBois, son of Clyde Henry and Adele Louise (Good) Maize. Preceded in death by parents; son, Mark Alexander Maize, who died June 2, 1997; and brother, David Fleming Maize. Survived by wife, the former S. Ann Mock to whom he was married for 51 years; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Ann (Maize) Larimer, wife of John F., Somerset; nephew, David F. Maize Jr., San Antonio; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Jean Mock, Somerset. Richard was a graduate of Somerset High School and a 1963 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He also served a fellowship with Westinghouse in New York. He was a teacher in the Rockwood school district with 35 years of service. He was the founder of the Metropolitan Car Club of North America. He was very interested in cars and enjoyed them very much. He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. There will be no viewing or visitation. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset. The Rev. Keith M. Fink officiating. Contributions may be made to the Mary S.
