  MAKAY
  
  Mary M. Makay, 78, 226 Juniata St., Boswell, died Oct. 3, 1987, at
  Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg, Pa.  Born Aug. 17, 1909, in
  Hooversville, daughter of Adam and Mary Matse.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband Joseph Sr., who died in 1971; sister, Anna
  Zborovancik; and brothers, John, Pete and Andy.  Survived by these
  children: Joseph Jr., married to the former Helen Wiencek, Boswell;
  Mike, Florida; Shirley, wife of Wayne Miller, Detroit, Mich.; and
  Steve, Bellefonte; seven grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Susan Piller, Cleveland, Ohio. 
  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment,
  Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
