  MAKAY
  
    Pvt. Paul J. Makay, 18, U.S.M.C., Parris Island, S.C., and Garrett,
  Pa., died Sept. 3, 1997, Eisenhower Medical Center, Augusta, Ga., born
  Feb. 9, 1979 in Meyersdale.  A son of Steve R. and Ruth E. (Snyder)
  Makay, Garrett.  Also survived by two brothers: Steve Makay Jr. and
  Charles Raymond Makay, both of Garrett; grandparents: Leroy and Mary
  Donaldson, Garrett and special friend, Criss Saylor.  Graduated from
  Meyersdale Area High School and Somerset County Vo-Tech on June 2,
  1997.  Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11
  a.m. today Monday, with Pastor Kenneth A. Davis officiating. 
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  Military honors accorded by
  the United States Marine Corps.
