  MALDET
    
    Fred "Fritz" Maldet, 76, Fernwood Drive, Johnstown, died Aug. 29,
  1990, at home.  Born Aug. 1, 1914 in Johnstown, son of John and Helen
  (Bido) Maldet.  Preceded in death by wife, former Sara Blough, on May
  12, 1984; sister, Grace Fisher, and brother, Arthur.  Survived by two
  children - Eloise, wife of Dennis Thomas, Cincinnati, Ohio, and
  Richard, married to former Sylvia Kimmel, Fernwood Drive, Johnstown;
  these grandchildren: Renee, wife of Lance Oij, Largo, Fla.; Dennis
  Thomas Jr., Cincinnati; Todd, married to former Gina Cook, St.
  Petersburg, Fla.; Adam Thomas, Johnstown; Gina and Richard Maldet,
  Johnstown; also great-granddaughter, Lindsay Renee Oij.  Also
  survived by sisters-in-law Arville, Johnstown; Margaret Blough,
  Johnstown RD 4; Gertrude Miller, Hollsopple, and Elaine Blough,
  Pittsburgh, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Blough, Johnstown RD 4. 
  Member of Moxham Lutheran Church.  Financial secretary of Ideal
  Volunteer Fire Company.  Member of Tire Hill Camp.  Former secretary
  of Somerset County Supervisors Association.  Former member of
  Somerset County Planning Commission.  Former chairman of Conemaugh
  Township Board of Supervisors.  Supervisor for 28 years.  Treasurer
  of Conemaugh Township Democratic Club.  Friends received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E.
  Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where service will be held at
  10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Edward V. DeVore.  Interment Stahl Mennonite
  Cemetery.  Those who wish may make donations to Ideal Volunteer Fire
