Mallery, of Altoona, formerly of Meyersdale, died Thursday morning, May 22, 1941, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cunningham, in New York City, after a lingering illness due to a heart condition. Funeral services were held at the Stevens Funeral Home in Altoona on Sunday afternoon. She is survived by her husband and three sons and three daughters; namely, Harry, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Samuel, Uniontown; Robert, Altoona; Mrs. Thelma Gumberling, Altoona; Mrs,. Grace Cunningham, New York; and Margaret Mallery, teacher in the Meyersdale school. Mr. and Mrs. Mallery and family were for many years residents of Meyersdale where Mr. Mallery conducted a hardware store. Meyersdale Republican, May 29, 1941
