Elmer Mallow, 79, of Hyndman RD 1, November 21, 1983 at Sacred Heart Hospital shortly after admittance. Born in Streby, W.Va., he was a son of the late Jacob W. Mallow and Annie J. (Stonestreet) Mallow. He was a retired maintenance repairman for the Shriver Oil Company, Cumberland, and a member of the Hyndman Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his widow, Sylvia O. (Mallow) Mallow; a son, Terrell W. Mallow, Hyndman RD 1; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine M. Leese, LaVale, Maryland; Mrs. Martha J. Rorabaugh, Martinsburg; and Mrs. Deloris M. Emerick, Hyndman; a brother, Glenn Mallow, Elmira, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Thompson, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Ethel Evans, Maysville, W.Va., and Mrs. Velma Hobin, Cumberland, Maryland; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence where services were conducted by the Rev. Herald Seese and the Rev. David Shetler, pastors of the Church of the Brethren.
