  FLORENCE E. MALONEY
  
    Mrs. Florence E. Maloney, 78, Edwards Hill Apartments, died
  Thursday, August 9, 1990, at Laurel Wood Nursing Home.
    She was born May 18, 1912, in Salisbury, a daughter of the late
  John and Elizabeth (Hostetler) Kern.
    She was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Lybarger-Slagle, Mrs.
  Geraldine Custer and Mrs. Mary Roudabush, and brother, William.
    She is survived by husband, Thomas Dan Maloney, and nephews, Harold
  and Richard Slagle and Glenn and Don Custer; also survived by
  brother-in-law, Robert Maloney.
    She was a member of Moxham Colonial Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received Friday at R. Owen Ketterer Funeral Home,
  Geistown, where sevices were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. W.S.
  Haldeman-Scarr.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
