  MALSBERRY
  
    Essie Mae Malsberry, 96 of Hyndman, formerly of Rockwood, died Dec.
  13, 1976 in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 28, 1880, in
  Milford Township, a daughter of Austin and Sara Ellen Putman
  Critchfield.  Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara (Ahlburn) Shaffer
  of Hyndman RD 1; a niece, Mrs. Betty Romesberg of Rockwood, who was
  reared by Mrs. Malsberry; and by several other neices [sic] and
  nephews.  Also by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She
  was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Malsberry in 1945, and
  an infant son, William Austin Malsberry in 1918.  She was a life-long
  member of St. Lukes's Lutheran Church, Rockwood.  Friends will be
  received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, where services will be conducted Wednesday
  at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clarence C. Moore officiating. Interment,
  Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
