Manges, 75, of Pittsburgh, died Aug. 21, 1977, at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 14, 1902 in Somerset County, a son of Howard and Elizabeth (Miller) Manges. Survived by his widow, the former Hazel Maul and these children: Mrs. Neal (Lois) Towle of Penn Hills; Mrs. James (Patricia) Smith of Madison; Carl Lynn Manges of Murraysville; and Mrs. Paul (Sharon) Clark of Greensburg; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Goldie Weimer; Mrs. Mary Hauger; and Mrs. Harris (Elizabeth) Decima, all of Somerset; and Miles Manges of Florida. Member of the First Christian Church, Somerset. Friends are being received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
