    Olive C. (Stern) Manges, 91, Lutheran Home at Johnstown, formerly
  of Jerome, died April 15, 1998, at the home.  Born June 20, 1906, in
  Quemahoning Township, daughter of Russell and Emma (Ogline) Stern. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Jacob F., Dec. 18, 1976;
  infant son, William; son Clyde, June 29, 1992; infant grandson;
  granddaughter, Ellen Manges, Oct 17, 1968; great-grandson, Coty
  Wyant; and 13 brothers and sisters.  Survived by daughters:  Anna
  Mae, wife of Paul Shaulis, Davidsville; grace E., wife of Arley
  Frampton, Boswell Rd; and Delores J., wife of Harold Wyant, Jerome;
  daughter-in-law, Nancy (Saylor) Manges, Jerome; 10 grandchildren and
  20 great-grandchildren.  Member of the former Jerome Lutheran
  Church.  Last surviving member of her immediate family.  Friends
  received from 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday, with the Rev. Hans-Peter Helmers officiating.  Interment,
  Horner-Mt. Tabor, Cemetery, Quemahoning Township.
