    Robert Lee Manges, 70, Hillside Lane, Somerset, died Nov. 12, 1998,
  at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 15, 1928, in
  Somerset, son of Harry Irving and Sallie Elizabeth (Ogline) Manges. 
  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by his wife, the former Betty
  Mae Sager, to whom he has been married for 51 years; children: Mrs.
  David C. (Connie Ann) Welch, Berlin; Mrs. Terry D. (Sandra) Hinson,
  New Paris; Danny I. Manges, married to the former Marcia Shockey,
  Quarryville; grandchildren: Mrs. Patrick (Jennifer Ann) Lynch,
  Wayland, Mass.; Matthew D. Welch, Heather E. Welch and Mrs. Keith
  (Natalie) Morris, all of Greenville, S.C.; Amy E. and Andrew E.
  Hinson, New Paris; Mrs. Tim (Lynn) Smith, Ephrata; and Danny Lee and
  Kurt Sean Manges, Quarryville.  Brother of: Fred W. Manges, Somerset;
  Mrs. Donald L. (Lucille) Kelly, Mentor, Ohio; James O. Manges, Elyria,
  Ohio; and Mrs. George (Suzanne) Gage, Seville, Ohio.  Attended Laurel
  Hill Gospel Tabernacle.  US Navy Veteran of World War II. 
  Superintendent of maintenance for Walter's Tire Service, retiring in
  1991 with 44 years of service.  Member of Laurel Hill Rod and Gun
  Club.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where
  service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Chauncey
  Ickes and the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to the Laurel Hill
  Gospel Tabernacle, 7415 Somerset Pike, Boswell, Pa. 15531.
