Mangne, 66, Davis Avenue, Somerset, died June 23, 1987, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Aug. 6, 1920, in Macdonaldton, son of the late Nick and Annie (Ingrody) Mangne. Survived by his wife, the former Rebecca Hitchman; a son, Thomas H., New York City, N.Y.; a foster daughter, Sarah Reed Hart, Tarentum; two sisters: Mary, wife of Bill Martz, Somerset RD 5; Josephine, wife of David Emert, Somerset. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. A veteran of World War II. Served as a first lieutenant in the Air Force. Member of S.S. Crouse Post 181 American Legion, Somerset Post 554 VFW. Friends will be received 6:30-8:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Church, Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli and the Rev. Father Terry Johnson.
