  MANNERS
  
  Susan L. Manners, 69, Stoystown RD 1 (Jenners Crossroads), died Aug.
  29, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 31, 1913, in
  Kent, Ohio, daughter of John Wilson and Edna (Paulus) Brant. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Chester A., who died May 5,
  1968; brothers, Glenn and Warren; and an infant sister.  Survived by
  son, Lee married to the former Nancy Yackulak, Somerset RD 2; three
  grandchildren:  Christopher, Justin and Tiffany.  Sister of: Mildred,
  widow of William Carroll; and Dolly, widow of Walter Kelly, both of
  Boswell RD 1; and Truman, married to the former Leora Cable,
  Jerome.  Member of Mt. Laurel Untied Church of Christ.   Partner in
  Miller-Manners Inc., suppliers of buses for the North Star Schools. 
  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. n 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will
  be held 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Joseph M. Beer.  Interment,
  Jennerstown Lutheran Cemetery.
