Born Feb. 18, 1920, in Easton, a daughter of the late Floyd Steckel and Florence (Hess) Steckel Hahn. Her stepfather was the late Arthur F. Hahn Sr. Also preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Mannick, who died in 1982. Survived by a daughter Linda, wife of William McDonough, Meyersdale; and a son, Charles "Chip" Mannick, and his wife Catharine (Fritz), Lopatcong Township, N.J. Also three grandchildren: Patrick McDonough, J.C. Mannick and Justin Mannick. A sister of Harold Hahn, Uniontown, Arthur F. Hahn, Morgantown, W.Va., and Elwood Hahn, Toms River, N.J. Mae was employed by the Easton Express as an obituary writer from 1957 to 1976 and was employed as a secretary by Esau T. Joseph, an Allentown Realtor from 1968 to 2002. She is a graduate of Easton High School class of 1936 and Churchman Business School. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where a private memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meyersdale Public Library.
