    Josephine M. Manuska, 80, of Somerset RD 7 died May 11, 1994, in
  Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born March 19, 1914, in
  Wilbur, Somerset County Daughter of the late Peter and Josephine
  (Baroni) Lapina.  Preceded in death by sister, Kathryn Sagel, and
  brothers, Benny and Theodore "Ted" Lapina.  Survived by two
  daughters, Jackalyn Eller and Marie F. Lohr, both of Somerset; four
  grandchildren, Bruce and Brian Eller Christine Zerfoss, Somerset, and
  Deborah J. Miller, Friedens; three great-grandchildren: Randy, James
  and Ashleigh.  Also sisters: Agnes Baroni, Stoystown RD 1; Yolanda
  Legarski, Somerset RD 2; Lillian Bills, Colorado; Dorothy Blucas,
  Fort Collins, Colo., and Jo Ann Riddick, Ossier City, La., and
  brothers; Pete Lapina, Indiana; Sammy Lapina, Somerset.  She was
  retired from Somerset State Hospital and was a licensed practical
  nurse.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake
  service will be conducted at 8:45 p.m. Friday Mass of Christian
  Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic
  Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel Tomascilli, celebrant.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
