     William "Billy" Mapes III, 52, Somerset, after a long and difficult illness, went to
  be with  the Lord Aug.16, 2007, at The Patriot, Somerset. Born Aug. 21, 1954, in
  Somerset, the son of William Jr. and Beulah Mae (Sarver) Mapes. Preceded in death by
  father. Survived by mother, Somerset; sisters, Mrs. Larry R. (Donna Jean) Rhoads, Ms.
  Debra Ann Weyand, nieces, Jacquelyne Ann Rhoads and Jennifer Autumn Weyand, all of
  Somerset. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, a 1974 graduate of Somerset High
  School. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Mark S. Bendes
  officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Windber
