    MARANO
    
    Samuel Marano, 91, Somerset RD 6, formerly of Friedens, died Aug.
  11, 1982, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Milton Beam.  Born Oct.
  5, 1891, in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy, a son of Mr. And Mrs.
  Samuel Morano.  Preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Fallon)
  Marano, and two brothers.  Survived by these children:  Yvonne, wife
  of John Akins, Pensacola, Fla.; Letty Lou, wife of Milton Beam,
  Somerset RD 6; and George, New York City, N.Y.; six grandchildren;
  and two sisters:  Maria and Rosina, both in Italy.  Member of St.
  Michaelis Roman Catholic Church, Listie; F.O.E. 1801, Somerset;
  Friedens Volunteer Fire Department; Sons of Italy.  Retired coal
  miner and barber.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday
  (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake services will
  be conducted Friday at 8 p.m.  Funeral mass Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in
  St. Peteris Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Father
  Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
