Maraugha, 91, of Somerset, formerly of Indian Head, died Feb. 2, 2000, in Somerset Hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Leisenring, Fayette County, a son of the late Frank and Theresa Crowe Maraugha. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Susan M. Benko Maraugha in 1993, three brothers, Frank and Theresa Crowe Maraugha. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Susan M. Benko Maraugha in 1993, three brothers, Frank, Andy and Joseph Maraugha, and three sisters, Barbara Boring, Mary Sultzer and Julie Keffer. He is survived by two sons, William J. Maraugha and his wife Catherine of Boswell, and Robert M. Maraugha and his wife Janice of Sheppardstown, W. Va., and a daughter, Betty Ann Rega and her husband Lou of Mt. Pleasant. Ten grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a resident of Somerset for the last three years. He worked as a coal in the Melcroft Mine for 32 years and later as a union heavy construction workers. He was Catholic by faith. Friends will be received in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711. Melcroft, Friday from 2-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond of the Mountain R.C. Church, Donegal, with the Rev. John Harold as celebrant. A committal service and interment will follow in the St. Raymondis Cemetery, Saltlick, Twp. Daily American, February 3, 2000 [M0145]
