      MARDIS
    
      Frelin Wayne Mardis, 67, Rockwood RD 1, died Oct. 22, 1993, in
  his home.  Born Nov. 14, 1926, in Prittstown, Fayette County, son of
  the late Luvernon and Helen (Reinard) Mardis.  Preceded in death by
  parents and one brother, Donald.  Survived by three children:
  Cynthia, Rockwood RD 1; David Somerset, and Scott, Rockwood; and
  three grandchildren:  Kayla, Rebecca and Trisha.  These brothers and
  sisters:  Thomas, Youngwood; Glen, Ohio, John and Larry of Mt.
  Pleasant, Robert, Lancaster, Martha Springer and Virginia, both of
  Mt. Pleasant, Maxine Brooks, Stafford, Va., and Beverly Hater of
  Virginia.  Veteran of World War II, served with the U.S. Navy.  Member
  of American Legion Post 279, Rockwood.  Was a retired truck driver. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  Monday.  Roy Worsham officiating.  Interment, Green Ridge Memorial
  Park, Connellsville.
