  MRS. JAMES R. MARDIS
     
    Irene G. Mardis, 58, of Rockwood, died Dec. 5, 1975, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec.  16, 1917, in Detroit, she was a
  daughter of Jacob and Selma Mansky.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, James Russell Mardis, Aug. 9, 1970.
    She was employed by Meyersdale Manufacturing Company. 
    Surviving are a son, Robert Mardis, of Rockwood; three
  grandchildren; and two brothers, Chester Mansky of Shamokin, Pa.; and
  Edmund Mansky of Baltimore.
    Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. Dwayne Johnson officiating.
