    Leona G. (Verna) Marian, 64, Johnstown, formerly of Davidsville,
  died May 3, 1989, at Memorial Hospital.  Born Dec. 29, 1924, in
  Jerome, daughter of John and Ricketta (Tordo) Verna.  Preceded in
  death by father, infant brother and brothers Robert and LeRoy.
  Survived by mother, of Johnstown; husband, Walter, to whom she was
  married May 16, 1949. Sister of: Ann, wife of John Bushko, Johnstown;
  and Joan, wife of Rodney Lintz, Davidsville; also numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Former payroll clerk for Dorfman & Hoffman Lingerie Factory,
  Boswell.  Subsequently originated and operated the former Wayside
  Furniture, Davidsville, for numerous years.  No public visitation or
  viewing at the request of the decedent.  Private services at
  convenience of family to be conducted by Father Andrew Kranyc,
  Stonewood, W. Va. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.  Arrangements in
  charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes, Boswell.
