MARK Hulda (Suder) Mark, 62, of Meyersdale and Arlington, Va., died unexpectedly Saturday, April 15, 1972. She was stricken while at the wheel of her auto, driving south on Beachley St., Meyersdale, and apparently died immediately upon pulling her vehicle to the side of the street. Born in Meyersdale Dec. 13, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Maude (Bird) Suder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Mark, in 1963. Mrs. Mark was a teacher in James Fenimore Cooper Intermediate School in McLean, Va., and in 1971 was included in the publication, "Personalities of the South." She was a graduate of Meyersdale High School, and West Virginia University, received a master of arts degree at WVU in 1936, and has had additional studies in a number of other institutions of higher learning. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Marlinton, W. Va., the Society of American Foresters, the Meyersdale Woman's Club, numerous education associations, and was a life member of Somerset County Historical and Genealogical Society. Surviving are a sister, Cleda Suder, Meyersdale; four brothers, Cecil B., Gorman and Glenn Suder, all of Meyersdale; and Melvin H. Suder, Ft. Wayne, Ind. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
