  MARKER
    
    Blanche I. Marker, 85, of Meyersdale, formerly of Garrett, died
  Sept. 2, 1997, at Meyersdale Manor.  She was born Feb. 17, 1912, in
  Rockwood, a daughter of Milton and Hilda (Marker) Marker.  Also
  preceded in death by grandson, Robert Wayne Niehenke; two brothers
  and a sister: Bruce and Clyde Marker and Edith Carolus.  Survived by a
  daughter, Betty I., wife of Walter Szymoniak of Baden; one grandson,
  William S., and his wife, Cheryl Niehenke, of York; three
  great-grandchildren: William _, Brittney Ann and Maura Nichol, and
  one brother, Ronald Benford of Rockwood.  She was a member of the
  Rockwood United Church of Christ.  Friends will be received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where service will be at 11 a.m. Friday.  Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
