  MARKER
    
    Bruce C. Marker, 79, of Rockwood died Oct. 5, 1993, in the Somerset
  Hospital.  He was born Oct. 17, 1913, in Somerset County, a son of the
  late Milton and Mahilda (Marker) Marker.  He is survived by his
  daughter, Mrs. Robert (Paulette) Laskoski of Walkersville, Md.; a
  sister Blanche Marker of Garrett; a brother Ronald Benford, Rockwood,
  and three grandsons: Shawn, Chad and Troy, all of Walkersville, Md.
  Preceded in death by wife, Kathryn Cramer Marker, in November of
  1985; a brother, Clyde, and a sister, Ethel, who died July 15, 1993.
  A lifelong member of the Rockwood Volunteer Fire Company.  Member of
  the St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Rockwood.  Was self-employed wood
  hauler.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with his pastor, the Rev. Susan Winger,
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.  Arrangements are
  under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  with John A. Brady supervising.
